Riverbanks Zoo and Garden Gears Up for Exciting Spring Events
COLUMBIA, S.C., March 26, 2026 — This spring, Riverbanks Zoo and Garden invites visitors to make the most of longer days with a lineup of events that blend family fun, conservation impact, and backyard inspiration. From exclusive members-only evenings and a wild 5K to wine tasting and gardening experiences, there is something for every age and interest.
“We are always looking for ways to provide our community with meaningful experiences that also support animals, their habitats, and horticulture,” said Tommy Stringfellow, president and CEO of Riverbanks. “Whether you are running for conservation, sipping and strolling through the Garden, or cooling off at Waterfall Junction, each visit helps us care for wildlife at home and around the world.”
